I LOVE that he is finally done school and I completely support him...but his convocation was in Banff and we had to be there at 9 a.m. for check in. (It takes 1.5 hours to get to Banff). Needless to say, the day started off at 6 a.m. which is earlier than I am accustomed to.
NO SLEEP = GRUMPY WIFE
Luckily for my parents, we were more than happy to ditch our kids on them at 7 a.m. that morning...hint of sarcasm. That's right, all three of them.
Really it felt like we were dating again. Living off no sleep, no kids in tow, being around students. Wow a lot has changed in five years.
Okay...enough sarcasm. We actually had a great time. I got all dressed up in a the suggested cocktail attire and Cory and I enjoyed strolling through Banff and making a trip to the fudgery....yum! And of course the delicious dinner that night.

He really does look smart. I find there a big difference between how educated and uneducated men look, as well as men with families and without. Cory looks serious, but happy. Very cool that he could celebrate.
