SUMMER IS NEVER LONG ENOUGH

The title really says it all. I love summer for sooooo many reasons. The heat, the lack of schedule, time spent with family at the cabin, and all the activities we do during summer.

We love our Lockhart cousins

THE CHINESE TEA PARTY

Every year, my double cousins, (only the luckiest of us have them), throw a tea party. This year the theme was Asia. Well, we couldn't resist. What a great excuse to visit Utah. I used to live there, and have always loved going back for visits. Initially I was hoping for the Downton Abbey version, but maybe that will be a good reason for me to attend in years to come.
My sister, mom and I drove down with the kids. (I love my minivan). The kids were fantastic. (I love my dvd player). We only had time for a five day trip, but it was honestly perfect. I loved every minute of being with my family. We spent a lot of time swimming and shopping and I was able to take my children to the Salt Lake Temple grounds. (I also discovered HOBBY LOBBY, but that is a whole blog post in itself)!
I forgot we decided to also have a British version of the tea party. Here we are all together. Can't wait for our next get together!

Love taking my children to see different temples, just like my parents did for me!

Love that I get to be in a picture with my boys. We had such a great time together.

OUR NEWEST GRADUATE

This news is long over due, but I cannot neglect my middle child and his accomplishments. So we are back tracking to the middle of June.
I am so proud of Jack. He caught onto letters and numbers pretty well and I decided to enroll him in kindergarten, Great job Jack.

Yeah for joy school! Good luck next year everyone!
