IN OVER MY HEAD

For a while now I have wanted to fix up some old furniture. I have a few friends who have done it and it has turned out great! I have started collecting some furniture, but I can't do anything until this snow disappears (we have no garage) so it is being stored in the adjacent empty unit next to us. That alone is a problem because it is seriously full of "stuff", but I think I've out down myself with my latest kijiji find. Especially considering I have NO experience.
Here are some pics.
Not exactly sure how old this chair is, but it is old. I love everything about it, except all the work it needs. I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions?

This chair is pretty wobbly...I am going to have to attack it with nails, but I honestly have no idea what I am doing!

Can you see the straw? This chair is so old the cushion was filled with straw! I don't know how much to change? Do reuse the existing straw, or replace it?
This chair is equally as old, but much sturdier. It still needs some work though. The centre back piece is broken...it should be symetrical. And again, I don't know how much I should change? Leather? Stain? Feel free to give me advice!
